Noopept - what is it?

Ester etylowy N-fenyloacetylo-L-proliloglicyny known under the market name of Noopept is a substance from the nootropic group, which a mechanism of action similar to Piracetam, though many times more active. In terms of its chemical structure, Noopept is categorized as a dipeptide.

Studies show that Noopept:

  • contributes to the increased level of NGF (Nerve growth factor) and BDNF (Brain-derived neurotrophic factor) - neurotrophic factors, which coincide with the growth and protection of nerve cells, facilitate regeneration and appearance of new neural connections.
